Intended Use
- White Measurement: Measures ISO Brightness (R457 Brightness). For fluorescently whitened specimens, it can also determine the Fluorescence Whitening Degree produced by the emission of fluorescent substances.
- Luminance: Measures the Luminous Reflectance Factor (Stimulus value).
- Opacity & Transparency: Determines both the opacity and transparency levels of materials.
- Optical Coefficients: Measures the Light Scattering Coefficient and Absorption Coefficient.
- Ink Absorption: Evaluates the ink absorption values of paper and board.
- Wide Application: Extensively used in industries such as paper and pulp, textiles, paints and coatings, chemical building materials, plastics, cement, calcium carbonate powder, ceramics, enamel, kaolin, talc, starch, flour, salt, detergents, and cosmetics.
Operating Principle
The instrument evaluates the whiteness of a specimen based on photoelectric principles, measuring the reflectance of light across specific wavelengths.

- d/0 Geometry: Utilizes a d/0 (diffuse illumination/0° viewing) optical geometry. Features a 150mm diameter integrating sphere and a 30mm (or 19mm) test aperture. Includes a light trap to eliminate the influence of specular reflection.
- Integrated Printing: Equipped with an imported thermal printer core-no ink or ribbons required. Characterized by low noise and high-speed printing.
- Smart Interface: Features a large color touchscreen LCD that displays results, statistics, and step-by-step prompts for intuitive operation.
- Data Communication: Equipped with RJ45 (Ethernet) and USB interfaces. Supports data transmission via TCP/IP protocol to servers or direct PC connection.
- WIFI Connectivity: Includes built-in WIFI, allowing users to transmit data to a computer via a router and generate professional reports.
- Power-off Protection: Features non-volatile memory; calibration data remains intact even after power loss.
